Chief Warrant Officer, Third Class Clark was a member of 568th Signal Company, 41st Signal Battalion. On December 15, 1965, he was the pilot of a Cessna Bird Dog Observation Aircraft (O-1D) returning to Quin Nhon from An Khe, South Vietnam. His last message stated he was low on fuel. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
