See Kei Chong was born in China on August 15, 1900. He migrated to the Canal Zone and was hired in January 1954 as a Deckhand, Navigation Division, Pacific side, Panama Canal Company. He retired in October 1964 and continued to live in Panama. He died on September 8, 1988 at Gorgas Army Hospital and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
