Claude D. Chambers was born in Jamaica on November 5, 1895. He moved to the Canal Zone and was employed by the Panama Canal Company at North Gamboa, Balboa. He married Winifred F. Chambers in about 1935. He retired from the Panama Canal Company and continued to live in Panama. He died on August 20, 1973 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
