Frank A. Raymond was born in Lungro, Italy on February 16, 1866. He married Teresa Cuaco Raymond and they had six sons. He immigrated to the United States in 1878 and became a naturalized citizen in 1890. He moved to Panama in 1906 to work as a Stevedore Foreman for the Isthmian Canal Commission. He was transferred to the Panama Railroad in 1908 and remained the until he retired as Foreman in 1931.He died on December 6, 1936 of congestive heart failure at the Colon Hospital. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979 near his wife, Teresa.
