Rita W. Cawthon was born in the Colon Hospital, Canal Zone on September 18, 1913. She Married Byron O. Cawthon. She gave birth to a stillborn daughter on July 21, 1942. Rita died on January 19, 1944 six days after giving birth to another stillborn daughter on January 13, 1944. She was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery near her two stillborn daughters.
