F. W. Carlyle was a married American born in 1865. He moved to Panama for employment as the custodian at the G.M. Division, Isthmus Canal Company. He died on March 16, 1916 at the Ancon Hospital. He was buried at Section A, Old Corozal Cemetery and reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
