Notes
Fred Campbell was born in Virginia on August 25, 1898. During World War I, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a Private with the 53rd Coast Artillery Regiment. He married Gladys Campbell and moved from Trenton, New Jersey to the Canal Zone where he worked as a car inspector, Railroad Division, Panama Canal Company. He died on May 13, 1955 and is buried at the Corozal American Cemetery near his wife.
