Notes
Private Edward P. Callaghan was born in Rochester, New York on July 12, 1884. He enlisted as a Private in Company K, 10th Infantry Regiment, Camp Otis, Canal Zone serving during the Spanish-American War. He died while on active duty on April 25, 1913 and was buried at the Ancon Cemetery. He was reinterred in Section A, Old Corozal Cemetery in March 1914. His remains were not found, so he was honored by a headstone at Section K, Row 10, Grave 14, Corozal American Cemetery in 1981.
