Notes
Burns, George A. was born in New York on July 12, 1895. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a First Sergeant with the 589th Anti-Aircraft (Automatic Weapons) Battalion, serving in World War I and World War II. Upon retirement he remained in Panama. He died on June 13, 1964. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
