Catherine M. Burgoon was born in Pennsylvania on November 16, 1875. She married Bernard Joseph Burgoon in 1889 and had four children. The family moved to Panama in the early 1900's and lived in Ancon, Canal Zone. She died on July 6, 1952 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery near her husband and her son Joseph Bernard Burgoon.
