Richard E. Brown was born in Oakfield, Wisconsin on February 4, 1907. He moved to Panama to work for the Panama Canal Company. There he married Rose Octavia Wood and lived at de Fabrega, Panama. Rose died of pulmonary embolism in 1952 and was buried in the Corozal American Cemetery. Richard died on July 24, 1959. He was cremated and is buried at Corozal American Cemetery near his wife, Rose.
