Notes
William Brannon was born in Jasper, Texas on April 24, 1910. During World War II he served with Battery C, 83rd Field Artillery then A 74 year old American widower from Jasper, Texas, who retired the Armed Forces. He had served with Battery C, 83rd Field Artillery, U.S. Army; Shipfitter 1st Class, U.S. Navy and finally with the 2nd Balloon Squadron, Army Air Corps. After retirement, he lived in the Canal Zone. He died on July 11, 1984 at Centro Medico Paitilla and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
