Purser Andrew Blaszowski was born in America in 1877. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and as a Purser aboard a naval ship. he served during the Spanish-American War. He died on June 4, 1902 aboard ship and was buried at Flamenco Island, Panama. He was reinterred at the Ancon Cemetery in 1911. In 1914 he was exhumed, cremated and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.\r\n
