George A. Bernal was a naturalized American citizen born in Jamaica On October 5, 1878. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War I. After the war he worked for the Panama Canal Company. Upon retirement, he remained in Panama. He died on April 11, 1962 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
