Carlos Peter Belizaire was an American born in Panama on February 22, 1917. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a Sergeant Clerk Typist with the 570th Port Company during World War II. He fought at Rome, Arno and the Rhineland. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the European Theater of Operations Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and the French Crux de Guerre. After he retired he lived Ancon, Panama. He died on August 29, 2008, was cremated and buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
