Sergeant Harry D. Beavers, Jr. was born in Oilton, Oklahoma on April 30, 1921. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and became a Sergeant with the 6th Bomber Group. He died on January 21, 1942 from an aircraft accident at Penonome, Panama and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
