Josh Williams Bayless was an American born in Spartey, Missouri on April 10,1894. He married Mary Bayless. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during World War I. On being honorably discharged from the Army, he was a civilian employee for the U.S. Army in Panama. He died on November 14, 1981 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery, near his wife, Maria Leonor Morales de Bayless.
