Charles Henry Bath was born in New Britain, Connecticut on February 15, 1880. He enlisted in Company E, 21st Infantry on March 15, 1899 and fought in Cuba and the Philippines during the Spanish-American War. He was discharged at the end of his enlistment on March 14, 1908 at Sariaya, Philippines. He moved to the Canal Zone and worked for the Panama Canal Company. After retirement from the Panama Canal Company, he and his wife, Flora Bates Bath, and daughter, Flora, moved to Santo Carlos, California. He died on August 30, 1968 at San Mateo, California and is buried at the Corozal American Cemetery with his wife, Flora Bates Bath, and daughter, Flora Bath Murphy.
