Edward Barnett was born in Kentucky in 1860. He moved to Panama and worked as a non-Panama Canal Company employee for only six months. He died on February 15, 1906 at Ancon Hospital. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1981.
