Notes
Seaman (E3) Barnett served aboard the destroyer USS HYMAM (DD-732) in Korean waters. On November 23, 1951, he was wounded when his ship was hit by enemy shore battery at Wonsan, North Korea and died on November 29, 1951. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
