The remains of 2LT Bachman have been recovered and are interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a gravesite with the co-mingled remains of crew members, 2LT William L. Covington and 2LT Lloyd H. Herbert. His name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial.
