The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) has partnered with the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM) and created a unique book “Time Will Not Dim – ABMC A Century of Service, 1923 – 2023,” which will officially launch Oct.
To honor those Native Americans who served during World War I, St. Mihiel American Cemetery will host a unique guided tour on October 14, 2023, at 3 p.m. local time.
ABMC policy is to continue operations during a lapse in appropriations if sufficient prior year funds are available. ABMC sites both in the U.S. and overseas remain open to the public.
To mark a hundred years of commemoration, ABMC released a unique 56-minute documentary, "Our Promise: 100 years of the American Battle Monuments Commission."
Starting Oct. 4, 2023, the ABMC staff at St. Mihiel American Cemetery will provide family-friendly guided tours of the cemetery and memorial to registered visitors on selected Wednesdays, at 3. p.m.
