Two of the pathways leading to the flagpoles will be under maintenance beginning on November 6, 2017. Access to the cemetery will not be affected in any way, however, these paths will be closed to foot traffic during this time.
Renovation work to the outside of the visitor center at Flanders Field American Cemetery will begin on October 16, 2017. While access to the visitor center and the restrooms will not be affected, the accessible entrance to the building will shift based on the location of the work.
Due to renovation work, the chapel at Flanders Field American Cemetery will be closed beginning on Monday, October 16, 2017. The chapel is expected to reopen in spring 2018. Access to the cemetery grounds will not be affected.
