ABMC renders Veterans Day tributes throughout the world
Over the Veterans Day weekend, annual Veterans Day tributes were rendered at ABMC cemeteries throughout the world for those who fought, including those buried and memorialized at our sites.
During the ceremonies, officials, guests, ABMC staff members and visitors observed a moment of silence and laid wreaths in honor of the dedication, service and commitment of our veterans, past and present. In Europe, North Africa, Central America, and the Philippines, our Veterans Day ceremonies were a unique reminder of our promise that “Time will not dim the glory of their deeds,” and that their legacy persists.
ABMC honors thousands of American Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen as well as other service members, from the Mexican-American War and Civil War, to World War I, World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
