ABMC documentary to be screened at the National Museum of the American Indian at the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House in New York City
To mark a hundred years of commemoration, ABMC released a unique 56-minute documentary, "Our Promise: 100 years of the American Battle Monuments Commission."
The unique documentary, which honors both the sacrifice of our fallen and the dedication of ABMC staff to keep their legacy alive, will be screened at the National Museum of the American Indian at the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House in New York City, Nov. 3, 2023, at 5.30 p.m.
A moderated Q&A session will follow to give spectators the opportunity to discuss with:

• ABMC Museum Curator Charlotte Josnard
• Debby Cheshewalla, niece of Pvt. Andrew Perry buried at Rhone American Cemetery, France

The American Battle Monuments Commission operates and maintains 26 cemeteries and 32 federal memorials, monuments, and commemorative plaques in 17 countries throughout the world, including the United States. Since March 4, 1923, ABMC’s sacred mission remains to honor the service, achievements, and sacrifice of more than 200,000 U.S. service members buried and memorialized at our sites.
