Airman Second Class Foglietta was the tail gunner of a B-26B Invader bomber with the 37th Bomber Squadron, 17th Bomber Wing, stationed at Pusan East Airfield (K-9), South Korea. On February 27, 1953, immediately after takeoff, the aircraft crashed at Kyongsong near Yongdung-po, South Korea. The remains were recovered. |
