Airman Second Class Kotora was a member of Flight C, 6007th Medical Squadron, U.S. Air Force. He received severe abdominal wounds from enemy mortar fire while tending his wounded comrades. He was evacuated to the Osaka Army Hospital in Osaka, Japan where he died on September 10, 1953. |
