Seaman Le May served aboard the aircraft carrier USS SALERNO BAY (CVE-110) during the Korean War. On the evening of July 11, 1952, his ship was anchored at Hampton Roads, Virginia. He inadvertently fell overboard. His remains were recovered several days later. |
