Private First Class Dibble was a member of Company F, 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team. While supporting the 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, he was seriously wounded by the enemy near Chindong-ni, South Korea on September 4, 1950 and died of those wounds later that day. |
