Specialist Zanchi was the crew chief of a helicopter assigned to the 377th Medical Company, 168th Medical Battalion, 65th Medical Group. He was killed when his helicopter crashed while removing wounded from a firefight in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) of Korea on March 15, 1969. |
