Sergeant First Class Mims was a member of the 24th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on August 11, 1950 and returned to duty on September 11, 1950. He was seriously wounded again on March 23, 1951 and returned on April 12, 1951. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on April 23, 1951. |
