Sergeant First Class Mena was a member of the 19th Infantry Regiment, 24th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on July 25, 1950 and returned to duty on August 9, 1950. He was seriously wounded again in North Korea on April 18, 1951 and died of those wounds the following day. |
