Private First Class Kellam was a member of the 8th Field Artillery Battalion, 25th Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on July 24, 1950 and returned to duty on August 22, 1950. He was seriously injured again on September 6, 1950 and died of those injuries later that day. |
