A 71 year old married American from Yauco, Puerto Rico who was retired as a Staff Sergeant from Headquarters, 179th Support Battalion, 3rd Army with 27 years service. He saw service during World War II and Korea and received the Purple Heart and Combat Infantryman Badge and lived in Colon, Republic of Panama. He died on December 10, 1991 at the Gorgas Army Hospital and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
