William B. Kralce was born in Athens, Ohio in 1867. He initially worked for a circus and came to the Isthmus of Panama in June, 1905. After working seven months in the Sanitation Department he transferred to the Municipal Engineering Department, building streets in the Isthmus for two years. Then he was assigned as Track Foreman in the Pacific Division. After retirement he remained in the Isthmus until his death on September 20, 1937. He was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
