Notes
Captain King was wing commander and a member of the 433rd Tactical Fighter Squadron, Ubon Air Base, Thailand. On May 14, 1966, he was the pilot of a McDonnell Douglas Phantom II Fighter (F-4C) on a night mission 20 miles west of Dong Hoi, North Vietnam, when radio contact was lost with the aircraft. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
