Charles Joyner was a 75 year old American from Puerto Rico who moved to the Canal Zone and worked his way up to become Guard Supervisor, Dredging Division, Panama Canal Company on December 4, 1953. After retirement he remained in Panama. He died on April 2, 1977 and was buried at the Corozal American Cemetery.
