A 24 year old single American man from Iowa serving on active duty as a Private in the U.S. Marine Corps aboard the submarine "USS BUFFALO" (SSN-715) He died on November 28, 1912 at the Ancon Hospital and was buried at the Bas Obispo Cemetery, located near the town of Gamboa, Panama. On May 2, 1917, upon the closure of the Bas Obispo Cemetery he was reinterred at Mt. Hope Cemetery. He was reinterred at Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
