Ruth M. Jenkins was born in Rittman, Ohio on December 17, 1913. She married Ivan L. Jenkins. In 1942, she moved to Panama to join Ivan who was employed with the Commissary Division, Panama Canal Company., living in Panama. She died on August 13, 1958 at Gorgas Hospital following a long illness and was buried at Corozal American Cemetery.
