Sergeant Major Guillory was a member of Battery A, 3rd Battalion, 16th Artillery Regiment, 54th Artillery Group based at Chu Lai. On June 18, 1967, he was an observer a Raven Observation Helicopter (OH-23) locating artillery targets in South Vietnam. Contact was lost with the aircraft and he was declared Missing in Action. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial.
