James Asker was born in Nogales, Arizona on June 30, 1889. He came to New York City to work. Then he went to the Canal Zone where he worked in the U.S. Consulate office. He died on January 8, 1976. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
