Wayne Reynold Ash was the two day old son of U.S. Navy Boatswain's Mate Third Class George Ash and Margaret Ash, who lived in the Canal Zone. He died on February 24, 1948. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then re-interred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
