George Edward Arthur was born in the Canal Zone. He was the seven year old son of Allan Arthur who worked for the Panama Railroad. He died on January 18, 1914 from cerebral paralysis at home. He was buried at the Mt. Hope Cemetery then reinterred at the Corozal American Cemetery in 1979.
